The first event being hosted by the JLMC will be at Ice Sheffield.

Starting at 11:00 am the event will be a full-day for all Northern and Midlands Clubs to come together to Face-Off the new season with one of the biggest single-day events the EIHA has ever hosted for Clubs.

JLMC Chair, Jackie Pye, said. “We have already been working really hard to make the improvements in the Junior Programme that Clubs have been demanding. These Face-Off ’15 events are intended to demonstrate a fresh approach being taken by my Committee and in re-vamping our junior programme we hope to provide greater access to the (Stage 1) grass roots level of the sport but at the same time demonstrate the entire hockey pathway that all players should be able to aspire to.”

The JLMC has set an ambitious plan for the Face Off ‘15 events which will see a number of the EIHA’s sections coming together to deliver educational workshops, demonstrations and informative seminars to help all participants either as players, coaches, officials and/or club volunteers.

The programme for the day has been set-out to deliver:

- Skill Development
- Off-ice Conditioning
- U11 Exhibition Game
- Team England demonstration
- Coaching Workshops
- Officiating Workshops
- Volunteer Workshops
- Equipment Workshops
- Trade Stands
- Fun Games
- Open to all players
