Firstly, may i hope you all had an amazing Christmas!

With less than 24 hours now to the main event starts, the good news is the Shirts have arrived and look amazing..

We are delighted to announce we have a combination of GB Coaches, ENTP coaches and developing coaches and Managers who have offered to help the event.. I have updated the list with all the volunteers on it.. I will organise a room for you to get changed separately from the players. We also have Guildford Flames S&C Rupert Quiney in attendance as well as a strong medical presence which i hope we dont need to use.

If Managers/Coaches can make themselves available at registration, that would be a huge help.

We look forward to seeing you arrive tomorrow.. and having an amazing day!!

Thank you for everyone who has made payments so far… We need to have the final payments/shirt orders in today, so we can complete the orders. Shirt designs are finalised.. and your team colours are highlighted in the attached spreadsheets.

Please can the final players payments be done asap today so i can get the orders moving.

UPDATE – TEAM LISTS

Firstly, Let again a huge Thank you to all the parents for applying to join the Winter Classic Event. The numbers requesting access to this day. I wish we could take everyone but numbers/time dont allow us.

The shirt designs are fantastic, and will be a great surprise when we supply these on the day.

We have negotiated with Rhino Sports who has to have the order in by this weekend, so we really need these details asap, so we can order each player their specially designed shirts. Please complete the order on the store as follows:-

What a response from Parents… over 115 applicants for this event.. Unfortunately we will have to put some on Standby, sorry, wish we could get more ice.

We have printed the lists… reviewing the information is correct on experience.. and then will publish asap.

We are doing 2 groups.
Group 1 2013 Year age group & some top experienced 2014s
Group 2 2014 Year age group & some top experiences 2015 Netminders.

We will confirm asap.

The ENTP – England National Team Programme, are delighted to confirm we will be doing a Winter Classic, Mites & Mighty Mites training day at Ice Sheffield on December 30th 2023.

Mighty Mites, since introduced several years ago, has always been a huge success with showing our young new players, what its like to experience an ENTP training day and games at Ice Sheffield, for our under 8 year old’s. Last season we introduced the Mites, and this was a roaring success.

We have decided to have a Winter Classic event and creating 2 events which this will be on a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED basis.

Mites – Players born 2013 & 2014       36 players & 8 Netminders           Must have a minimum 2 years playing experience

PLAYERS BORN 2013 + 2014 ONLY!!!*

All players must be competent at skating.

We are finalising the price (Approx £110-120) which we are aiming to include a specially designed Winter Classic shirt, Meals & snacks, and games, as well as training with current England National Team Coaches, who will be looking for future stars for our National programmes.

When – Saturday 30th December 2023
Who – EIHA registered players born in 2013 & 2014
What – Full day development and exhibition games
Time – Open 6pm 5th December
Cost – TBC per player will include a specially designed specially designed “Winter Classic” game shirt, a T-shirt, meals, and drinks and snacks
Capacity – 72 skaters + 16 N/M Per age group

Payment to be made only when once confirmation of place is announced. Payment to be done by purchasing a ticket on this events page.. but must be made within 48 hours, or place can be removed.

Schedules to be confirmed, however expect a full day of activities from on ice training with ENTP and guest coaches, Off ice training, Class room session as well as being fuelled up with food / snacks prior to participating during the main event.

Attached is the Rhino Shirt sizes, please ensure you put the correct size on the forms.
